Group Recreation
The best of every season comes together at The Woodstock Inn & Resort. Whether your meeting or event takes place in spring, summer, fall, or winter there is more than enough to do here but not nearly enough hours in the day.
Spring & Summer
Warm days bring golfing on our Robert Trent Jones, Sr. Golf Course. Tennis on 10 outdoor courts. Swimming in the pool, croquet on the lawn. Cycling, canoeing, and kayaking bring the outdoors up close; so, too, a hike in majestic Marsh-Billings Rockefeller National Historical Park.
Fall
What better time and place for leaf peeping than fall in Woodstock, "the prettiest small town in America." Enjoy a historical tour of Woodstock Village. Visits the town's many shops, boutiques, and galleries. And the pastoral beauty of Billings Farm & Museum is at its peak.
Winter
Head to the 23 trails of our Suicide Six Ski Area, with its exceptional skiing for all levels, or to the 60 kilometers of groomed cross-country and snowshoe trails at our Woodstock Ski Touring Center. Another favorite: sleigh rides in the countryside with warm blankets and hot cocoa.
Year Round
Our 41,000-square-foot Racquet & Fitness Club offers everything from a pool to Pilates, exercise room to whirlpool, squash courts to spa treatments. Orienteering, our adventure-based activity for groups, offers an opportunity for individuals or teams to guide themselves on foot over original carriage roads and through the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park as they locate markers at set map coordinates.
