The Nordic Center offers some of the country's best and most scenic cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. The Centers two separate trail systems, totaling 60 kilometers, include century-old carriage roads. A log cabin on Mt. Tom offers a place to warm up in front of a wood stove. Nordic skis, kick-and-pull sleds for children, and snowshoe rentals are available at The Nordic Center's shop. Both private and group lessons are offered.
