Simon Pearce Glassworks
Visitors can watch hand blown glass and pottery being created. Original designs are sold alongside hand-made furniture, baskets, linens, tweeds, clothing, and jewelry. Lunch and dinner are available.
Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS)
Houses one of North America's most impressive collections of live birds of prey, including owls, hawks, and eagles. Walking trails to the Ottauquechee River and Quechee Gorge are nearby.
Plymouth Notch Historic District
Considered the nation's best preserved presidential birthplace. Includes the 1924 Summer White House, the homes of Calvin Coolidge's family and neighbors, a general store, church, cheese factory, and dance hall.
Montshire Museum of Science
A hands-on museum with exhibits on natural and physical sciences, ecology, and technology. Surrounded by 100 acres of woodlands along the Connecticut River with walking trails.
Quechee Gorge Village
Vermont's Little Grand Canyon. Features a country store, antique mall, and arts and crafts center. Carousel and miniature train rides for children are available in summer.
Billings Farm & Museum
A working dairy farm that continues a century-long tradition of agricultural excellence and showcases the pastoral beauty of Vermont. Established in 1871, Billings Farm operates as a first-class working dairy farm and is one of the country's finest farm life museums. The Farm & Museum offer interactive educational programs and historical exhibits that explore Vermont's rural heritage. The restored Queen Anne-style farm house includes the family living quarters and the creamery where butter was produced for market. Billings Farm & Museum is open daily mid-April through October; it’s also offers special holiday events and dinners as well as sleigh rides during the winter months.
