Fishing & Foliage Photo Contest

This fall, celebrate the beauty of fishing during foliage season by sharing your best moments on the water. Whether you reel in a trout or simply soak in the autumn scenery, your photos and videos could win prizes from the Woodstock Inn & Resort Fly Shop.

October 1–31, 2025

• Grand Prize: Orvis Helios Fly Rod
• Weekly Prizes: Awarded throughout October

How to Enter:

1. Post a photo or video of your fish or foliage while fly fishing this October.
2. Catching fish is not required, entries can highlight the joy of fishing during foliage season.
3. All fishing must be done on the Connecticut River Watershed, including the mainstem of the Connecticut River or tributaries such as the White River, Black River, and Ottauquechee River.
4. Fly fishing only. No spin fishing entries will be accepted.
5. To enter, tag @woodstockflyfishing on Instagram or send us a direct message with your photo or video.
6. All entries must be posted between October 1–31, 2025.

Rules and Guidelines:

• Fish must be handled ethically in all photos and videos. No dry hands or dry fish will be accepted.
• Only trout caught on a fly rod are eligible.
• Contest entries must be posted or sent between October 1–31, 2025.
• All prizes must be collected in person at the Woodstock Inn & Resort Fly Shop.
