For the memories you will create during your wedding, the Woodstock Inn & Resort and the Village of Woodstock have many distinct choices for your ceremony. From multiple churches of all denominations to indoor and outdoor settings at the Inn and around the Resort, there is something for everyone.
Rockefeller Room
The Rockefeller Room offers a timeless elegance to ceremonies. The wedding party enters through floor to ceiling glass French doors, and then process down the aisle towards panoramic windows. The windows not only provide ample light, but also a beautiful view of the South Garden. Maximum capacity is 225. 1,704 square feet.
Kelly Way Gardens
Atop our stunning 3-acre organic garden sits our Kelly Way Gardens Lawn, a gorgeous grass-covered outdoor event space. Perfect for ceremonies under our hand-built arches, this space boasts enough room for a tent and features 3 fire pits, electrical hookup, restrooms and simply beautiful views. If you want a peaceful wedding among Vermont's beautiful nature, this is just the venue. Maximum capacity of lawn space is 225 guests.
Garden Terrace
No matter what season, the Garden Terrace is a fabulous space to exchange your vows. A wall of large windows acts as a wonderful backdrop with views of gardens that bring something new throughout the year. Dress the walls and surrounding areas to create a perfect scene for your special ceremony. The bride will make a grand entrance through French doors that are opened only when she is ready to make her big reveal. Maximum capacity is 60 guests.
Billings Farm & Museum
Have you always pictured exchanging your vows surrounded by beautiful farmland, and farm animals? Billings Farm offers just that. Guests will pass antique barns and lush pastures with split rail fencing on their way to the ceremony location. The backdrop is more pasture with stunning views of the valley beyond. Sometimes the sheep will even join in the festivities and baa their approval! Maximum capacity is 225 guests.
The Garden Parlor
Our Garden Parlor is the perfect spot to exchange vows with the love of your life with a few of your closest friends and family in attendance. This room features two walls of windows looking out to our South Garden, so no matter the season the view is fabulous. Maximum capacity is 36 guests. 504 square feet.
The Paul Barn
The lovely Paul Barn and accompanying lawn creates a peaceful and classic setting. The backdrop of the white barn gives a Vermont look and feel without overpowering your big day. The lawn creates a perfect aisle way, or stand on the grass yourselves and have flourishing greenery behind you. This space is easily transformed into the perfect intimate venue. Maximum capacity is 225 guests.
The Woodstock Country Club
The Woodstock Country Club and surrounding greens are a beautiful venue for wedding receptions, ceremonies, and rehearsal dinners. Panoramic views of the Kedron Valley and manicured greens color the landscape for an idyllic wedding location, while the Clubhouse Ballroom, accompanying outside decks overlooking the pristine course, and the Fairway Grill restaurant and bar are designed to accommodate up to 150 guests.
Saskadena Six Ski Area
The ski lodge makes for a naturally beautiful venue. With vaulted ceilings, a huge fireplace, vintage ski memorabilia, and floor to ceiling windows your wedding will be unforgettably unique and classically Vermont. Cocktail on the porch by the outdoor fireplace, dine mountainside, or say “I Do” in the beautiful mountain base meadow. The beautiful base lodge is perfect for a lively reception and weather backup, maximum capacity is 225.
Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church
Just across the street from the Inn, this Church’s proximity makes it extremely convenient. A stately stone façade opens into a beautiful arched wood paneled ceiling.
Saint James Episcopal Church
Just a short walk from the Inn, St James Episcopal Church offers a handsome setting for a ceremony. The stone exterior opens into an interior with vaulted ceilings, stone arches, intricate wooden carvings and beautiful stained glass.
North Chapel Universalist Society
This church is a short walk down the street from the Inn. The beauty of this church comes from its simplicity in architecture and mission. The abundance of natural light makes the space bright and welcoming.
