Is the Inn pet friendly?
Yes! We have a wing dedicated to accommodating pets, which is conveniently located near the dog-walking area. We have special biscuits, and plush dog beds available upon request. A $150 pet fee applies, see our detailed pet policy under Garden Level rooms online.
Is there WIFI?
Yes, we have complimentary WiFi!
Can I hook a baby monitor to the WiFi?
Our WiFi is an unsecured network and we do not have a private network with a password for guest use.
Is there parking on site?
Yes, parking is always complimentary, as is valet! We have a few different outdoor lots located in front of, and behind the Inn, as well as an attached garage.
Please be advised: From November 15 through April 15 there is a winter parking ban in effect from Midnight to 6am in the Village of Woodstock.
Are there Electric Car accommodations?
Yes, we have 2 Tesla car charging spaces on property. They are on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Village of Woodstock has 4 other electric car spaces located nearby in public parking.
Do you have a pool and hot tub?
Yes, we have an outdoor pool for inn guests during the summer months, as well as a year-round indoor pool and hot tub at our Athletic Club located just down the road with shuttle rides available.
Where is the Athletic Club? What is the address?
The Athletic Club is located just down the road from the Inn, at 1489 South Street. We have an Inn shuttle to take you there anytime you like.
What is the address of the Country Club and Nordic Center?
The location of the Country Club and Nordic Center is just down the road from the Inn, at 76 South Street. We have an Inn shuttle to take you there anytime you like.
Who owns the Inn?
The Woodstock Inn & Resort is owned by the Woodstock Foundation. The Foundation was founded by Laurance and Mary Rockefeller and is a charitable, nonprofit institution that promotes conservation, sustainable land use, and heritage as values that are essential to culture, community, and the human spirit.
We serve coffee and tea daily 6:30am-10:30am, as well as with cookies from 4pm-5pm.
When can I check-in?
Check-in Time is after 4pm. We welcome you here anytime on your day of arrival so that you may enjoy our amenities before check-in as well.
When is check-out?
Check-out Time is prior to 11am.

What is your Resort fee & what does it cover?
Our Resort fee is $35. This taxable nightly fee covers the provisions of the following resort services:
- Billings Farm & Museum Admission (seasonal)
- Morning Coffee, Tea, and Hot Cocoa

How close are the airports?
The closest airport is in Lebanon, New Hampshire, a quick 20-minute drive. Flights arrive daily at other nearby airports, Burlington, VT (BTV), Manchester, NH (MHT), and Boston Logan, MA (BOS).
Is Uber in Woodstock, Vermont?
Although we do not have Uber in Woodstock, we are lucky to be right on the green of a great walking village. We also have complimentary Inn shuttles to take you to all Resort and popular locations.
How is the cell phone coverage?
Cell phone coverage in Vermont is always a guessing game. In the village of Woodstock, we have moderate coverage by AT&T and Verizon.
What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 14-day standard cancellation policy. If you cancel your reservation within 14 days of your expected arrival you will be refunded your deposit minus a $30 cancellation fee. Cancelations within 14 days of arrival are subject to a 1-night stay payment plus tax. Holidays and certain exclusions may differ.
Are babysitting services available?
Yes, if your baby is 9 months or older. These service arrangements can be made through concierge and are based on availability.
Do you have services for Handicap Rooms? Do you provide ADA-compliant accommodations?
Yes, we have handicap rooms that feature large living and bathroom spaces and roll-in showers along with other features.
Are your rooms non-smoking?
Yes, all of our rooms and common spaces are non-smoking.
Can I store my luggage if I arrive before check-in or check-out early?
Yes, we would be happy to look after your luggage while you enjoy our Resort. Inquire at the Front Desk or with the Bellmen.
What is there to do near the Resort?
Woodstock, Vermont and the surrounding area hosts many activities! Just at our Resort alone we offer alpine and Nordic skiing, fly fishing, golfing, falconry, Organic Garden tours and tastings, Spa treatments, biking, tennis, swimming, fitness, Billings Farm & Museum…the list goes on! The surrounding area has wonderful boutique shops, art studios, hiking and so much more! Contact our concierge for specific recommendations.
What time of year is it best to visit Woodstock, Vermont?
Every season offers new activities in Woodstock, Vermont! Our busiest times of year include Fall foliage when many flock to see the beautiful colors of Autumn, Christmastime, President’s week in February, and Wedding season which lasts June – November.
Is there a Fitness Center at the Resort?
Yes, we have our Athletic Club just down the road from the Inn with Shuttle rides available. The Athletic Club features indoor and outdoor tennis courts, fitness equipment and classes, our indoor pool and hot tub, yoga and Pilates studios.
What are your dining options?
We have two dining options with full bars located within the Inn. Our main restaurant, the Red Rooster serves Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Richardson’s Tavern is another option for dinner at the Inn (Richardson's Tavern is currently closed). We also offer a variety of seasonal dining such as our Fairway Grill during Golf season, Perley’s Pourhouse and the Cafeteria at Suicide Six Ski Area are open during the winter, and our Red Barns at Kelly Way Gardens host summer and fall dinners on select dates.
Is there in-room dining or room service?
Yes, we are happy to offer our "inn-room" dining on request. Inn-room dining breakfast can be ordered via the door tag provided by the front desk. The lunch and dinner inn-room dining menus are on the smart TV in your room or ask the front desk for a paper copy.

How do I order a gift card?
You can easily order a gift card that can be used not only for Inn-stays, but also at any of our Resort facilities, on our website www.woodstockinn.com, or call our reservations team at 800-448-7900 and they would be happy to assist you.
How many guests are allowed in one room?
Guests per room depend on the room size you stay in. For our Woodstock King rooms, we recommend 2-3 people to fit comfortably. Larger rooms can fit 4-5 people comfortably.
Are cribs available?
Yes, cribs are complimentary as are pack and plays.
Are rollaway beds available?
Yes, rollaway beds are available at $15 per night.
Do you have a Spa?
Yes, we have a stunning LEED-certified and Forbes-rated Spa located right alongside the Inn. Call 802-457-6697 to schedule a treatment.
