Cruising Through Summer
Summer has cruised by in a blur this year! All the so-called “revenge travel” has had our resort busy and bustling this season with outdoor activities and relaxation being enjoyed around every bend. As summer starts to press on the brakes, the back-to-school time comes into view and with it, the fiery canvas of fall begins its preparations. The seasons cruise on and down the road autumn is rolling into town in a cloud of colorful leaves, crisp morning air, and more adventures at Vermont’s most beautiful address!
Five Fall Favorites
- Garden Displays at Kelly Way Gardens & Billings Farm. The Gourdwalk is a tunnel like no other, bring a snack to enjoy in the world of green gourds. The Sunflower House will make your flower maze dreams come true with blooms through September.
- Fall Golf at the Woodstock Country Club. Perfectly cool temperatures, an immaculate course, and intense foliage views!
- Strolling the pumpkin-lined streets of Woodstock Village. Our town knows how to dress for the season, tumbling gourd displays and fall leaves along white fences beg for a post on Instagram!
- Autumn Farm-to-Table Dining. Our fall menus transition to featuring roasted squash, warm stews, and pumpkin stuffed desserts. We can smell the nutmeg and cinnamon now!
- And of course, leaf peeping! It’s hard not to gaze up at the fiery hues on the hillsides. Whether it’s by foot, by bicycle, or a scenic drive on country roads, our Activity Center concierge knows the best routes.

Winter Adventuring & Holiday Feasting
Few things are as soul-warming as seeing the Inn coated in a soft blanket of fresh snow. It may make you want to cozy up by the grand fireplace after a holiday meal or maybe you'll want to grab your skis and hit the trails! We love both and have endless winter recreation lined up along with the wonderful traditions of family time and feasting over the holidays.
