Cozy Inside, Adventures Outside
As we anxiously await the blankets of snow coming to Woodstock, Vermont for the winter season, we also look back at the beauty we were blessed with this fall. Soon, the last of the geese will have flown south for the winter, the final leaves will have fallen, and our hills and valleys will be painted white.
This time of year brings a sense of calm and quiet to rural Vermont, but we need to remain vigilant about safety and protecting our communities during the ongoing pandemic. As of November 10, 2020, Vermont has implemented a mandatory quarantine for anyone traveling or returning to Vermont. We would love to have you visit and believe that following these steps to ensure safe travel is well worth the amazing experience that we will provide. We ask that if you are not able to comply with these state regulations, please do not travel to us at this time. If you are able to come to us, please review our Modified Operations & Travel Restrictions prior to visiting.
Film Series from Home
Every year Billings Farm & Museum puts on the Woodstock Vermont Film Series, curated by local Vermont filmmaker, Jay Craven. The films dive into many subjects, like social activism, politics, sports, animals, and more. They feature interviews, archival footage, and true stories, all while sharing the important history of many distinct cultures. This year’s series has been moved from the usual showroom in the museum to your home – by way of virtual viewing! You can purchase tickets per film or a series pass, which gives a distinct code for a 4-day viewing window.
