March in Vermont

Marching Towards Spring

March in Vermont brings a true mix of seasons. Winter is still delivering great days on the mountain, while the first hints of spring begin to emerge in the longer light and softer afternoons. Sugar Season is underway, with steam rising from sugarhouses and fresh Vermont maple syrup flowing from tree to table. It’s the perfect time to balance crisp outdoor adventure with a restorative spring spa treatment. Right now, you can savor the best of both seasons in a single day.

Maple Forest in The Spa

Step into the sweetness of the season with our Maple Forest Treatment, designed to renew and restore after winter’s chill. Inspired by Vermont’s sugaring season, this uplifting ritual taps into the nourishing benefits of nutrient-rich sap water to hydrate, soften, and awaken the senses.

Your experience includes:

  • An exfoliating Maple Sugar Scrub to smooth and refresh
  • A deeply hydrating Aloe Gel Wrap to replenish moisture
  • A Wild Lime Scalp Massage & Peppermint Foot Massage while you relax in warmth
  • A finishing touch of Maple Lotion Application or Massage for lasting hydration and protection

Rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants drawn from the trees, this seasonal escape leaves skin glowing and spirits lifted for brighter days ahead.

Ski & Ride Season Strong

March is when the mountain really starts to show off. The snow softens, the sun lingers a little longer, and every run feels like winter taking one last victory lap before spring arrives. These are the days made for soft turns, sunny lift rides, and squeezing in just one more lap before heading in for après.

As we move deeper into the month, we plan to continue our regular five-day-per-week operations through Sunday, March 15. Beyond that, Mother Nature will have the final say, but we’re hopeful to keep the lifts spinning on weekends as long as conditions allow. After all, we’re not quite ready to say goodbye to springtime hot laps, bluebird days, and the occasional goggle tan.

From the Nordic Center

Our Nordic trails have a habit of holding onto winter a little longer here in the valley. With help from our snowmaking and snow farming teams, we’re doing everything we can to keep the trails in great shape.

Early March has delivered some beautiful days out there. If you’ve been thinking about one more ski, consider this your sign to grab your skis, clip in, and enjoy a few more miles while winter’s still with us.
