Snowmaking is in full force at Saskadena Six, the groomers are out on the Nordic Center trails, and everyone is bustling in preparation for the town’s famous Wassail Weekend! Snow Sports Season
We don’t let the winter cold keep us inside! Snow has arrived and the ski and ride season is preparing to hit the slopes. The Woodstock Nordic Center has enjoyed a few days of cross-country skiing and snowshoeing already! As long as mother nature keeps snow on the ground, the groomers will be rolling out 45km of trails for gliding through forests and up to scenic views. A perfect spot for winter lovers of any ability, our Nordic Center offers ski and snowshoe rentals, ski lessons, and expert guidance of what trails will give you a great experience.
Over on the alpine slopes of Saskadena Six ski area, our team is working hard to cover the mountain! The snowmakers have stockpiled mounds of snow and, with nature’s help, are well on their way to crafting excellent conditions for the opening date of December 15! Don’t wait to book your lessons for the ski and ride season, our legendary snow sports school offers individual coaching, and spots fill up quickly. So, get your gear out and prepare for the snowy season ahead!
