Small-Town Charm & Then Some
Time after time Woodstock, Vermont makes the list of America’s most beautiful towns. Called “the prettiest small town in America”, “the quintessential New England village”, and many others, it’s no surprise Woodstock once again made Conde Nast’s list of The 26 Most Beautiful Towns in America. The village has “over-the-top American charm” year-round, but there’s something about autumn that gives it an extra dose. Foliage views along every winding road, colorful hillsides at each vista, and crisp fall leaves scattered on sidewalks like confetti take small-town charm and put a pumpkin on top. Visit us in the upcoming season for autumn displays at the Inn, the farm, and all through town.
Art at the Farm
Explore rural landscapes and structures when you visit the photography exhibit displayed at Billings Farm & Museum from September 18 – October 20. Voices from the Land by celebrated Vermont photographer Jim Westphalen invites you to look deeper and consider the story behind the rural beauty that surrounds us through his show of 22 large-format photographs. Fittingly, this exhibition is displayed in the historic and beautifully renovated Billings Barn.
The photographs are available for purchase, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Billings Farm & Museum. Admission to the exhibit is included with entry to Billings Farm & Museum, Woodstock Inn guests receive complimentary passes.

The holidays are their very own season in Woodstock! From Thanksgiving to New Year’s, the celebrations are abundant as are the decorations, fun, and feasting. Here’s what we’re looking forward to most this holiday season.
- Thanksgiving Day: Fill your belly with our holiday feast and fill your soul with gratitude and love from friends and family!
- Wassail Weekend: Enjoy the cheer that jingles all the way through the village during the day and conclude with a hearty 3-course dinner and drinks by the fireplace.
- Christmas Day: Play in the snow, explore the village, and spend time with family all week! Head to the Rockefeller Room on Christmas Day for a generous and delightful afternoon buffet.
- New Year’s Eve: Ring in 2022 at our Gala with sparkling wine, a special buffet spread with decadent desserts, and live music!
