Casting Away
Rivers are flowing with snowmelt and wild fish are feeding in the clear rivers and streams near Woodstock, Vermont. Birds Eye View
Meet our flock of stunning birds of prey at the New England Falconry Center this spring! This amazing hands-on experience is unlike any other. You will learn from our professional falconers and get to feel the agile power of Harris’ Hawks and other incredible birds like owls, falcons, and eagles as they spread their wings, fly overhead, and even land on your outstretched hand! Set in a sprawling field that flourishes with tall grasses and wild flowers during the spring, the Falconry Center offers a beautiful location for this truly exceptional experience.
Baby Animal Season
Spring is called many things in Vermont. Sometimes referred to as Mud Season, commonly known as Maple Sugaring Season, but for our local farms, it’s Baby Animal Season! Just across the river at Billings Farm & Museum, they are celebrating the best part of spring on the farm with the annual Baby Farm Animal Celebration on April 7 & 8 where you can meet:

- Chicks and Ducklings
- Lambs and Goat Kids
- Piglets
- Baby Bunnies
