Forest Festival

Explore the beauty and traditions of the Mount Tom Forest during this family-friendly Forest Festival! Take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the park, watch demonstrations of sustainable forestry and historic logging practices, and see the forest product cycle in action from logging and sawmilling to woodworking.

Meet local foresters and artisans, enjoy ranger-led programs, and bring a picnic, blanket, or chairs to relax and enjoy live music in the Pony Pasture. All Forest Festival programs are free, and no reservations are required. Parking is available at Billings Farm & Museum, with a shuttle provided to transport visitors to the festival.
