Tea & Traditions: Ann Nygard Hauskaa

As part of our Tea & Traditions Artisan Series, we welcome Ann Nygard Hauskaa, founder of Hauskaa, a Vermont-based maker of handcrafted wooden art inspired by Nordic design and a deep appreciation for nature. Ann’s connection to Finland began as a teenager and has continued to influence her work, from its minimalist aesthetic to its emphasis on sustainability and the home as a place of comfort and joy. 

Hauskaa pieces are crafted using sustainably harvested and upcycled wood, American copper, and natural finishes. Join us during Cookie Hour in the Conservatory to meet Ann, hear the story behind Hauskaa, and learn more about the inspiration and traditions woven into her work.
