Experience the beauty of Woodstock, Vermont from a horse-drawn ride, pulled by a hearty team of draft horses. Wagon, wagonette, and sleigh rides are available on select days throughout the year at Billings Farm & Museum, conditions permitting.

Public Wagon Rides
Available at Billings Farm & Museum during select times or at special events. Rides are sometimes tractor-drawn due to conditions and animal safety. Rides are approximately 10 minutes long and included with general admission to Billings Farm & Museum.
Guests of the Woodstock Inn & Resort receive free admission to Billings Farm & Museum.

Private Wagonette Rides
Take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the picturesque forests within Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park. Beginning at Billings Farm & Museum, the journey follows the scenic carriage roads around the Pogue. The tour meanders through dense forests, past babbling brooks, along sweeping fields, all surrounded by natural beauty and rich history. Private wagonette experiences may be booked on Tuesdays and Thursdays through October 31, 2025—or by request—by contacting Charlene Peavey at cpeavey@billingsfarm.org.
