Spring to Summer!
All the snow has melted, yet for those who want to keep sliding, Killington will provide skiing until June. In the meantime, we’re watching closely as the tulips poke their way through the soil, and our Master Gardener prepares our Kelly Way Gardens for the annual planting so our Chefs can provide you with delicious farm to fork delights.
As always, we look forward to our famous Easter Brunch (April 21) with the kids running around looking for eggs that mysteriously found their way to our South Garden. And not soon after, we will celebrate one of the most important weekends of the year, Mother’s Day Weekend. Our team has stepped up to the plate to make this one extra special.
After an epic Masters golf tournament this week, we know our loyal avid golfers are feeling the need to get the season into swing. Our Unlimited Golf and Woodstock-Quechee Golf packages can fill that void from a long winter’s playing drought. Our course will open May 1st.
Summer will have all new meaning in Woodstock this year. We have created a diverse variety of offerings for all guests. Our Family activity will be bustling, and we are excited to help you plan your vacation.
Mother’s Day Weekend. May 10–12th
Activities and culinary delights – Mom gets to decide what to do first! Our famous brunch is in store for Sunday, but wait…there is more. How about joining Mom for a golf or tennis tournament followed by a traditional tea back at the Country Club on Saturday? Our pros are ready and will make this a lot of fun. Family feast or girl’s getaway, mom decides! But either way, why not celebrate with a special dinner? Dress up or dress down, Mom decides! Take a hike, relax at the spa, and take Mom shopping in the Village. It’s her weekend. She decides, she deserves, and you will all love it!
Couple’s Summer Retreat
Wake up to a farmer’s breakfast and decide to hike through the National Park then tour the Rockefeller Mansion. Venture through the village, try on something new at one of the many boutiques and grab a latte. Maybe you scheduled a falconry lesson at 2pm or a couple’s massage at 4? Mountain Bike or cruiser bike, whatever your speed, can take you to places you have never seen. The day is long it stays light well past 9pm, which allows for time to do as much or as little as you like. In the evening cozy up on the porch of Richardson’s Tavern for an amazing culinary experience and toast to a night cap at the Red Rooster Bar. Our newly renovated guestrooms will enhance the experience as you relax in luxury and relish in the moment.
Family First! Explore. Together.
Explore together! There is always something to do at our resort. Almost all of our activities are family-friendly, and we know we can engage anyone with our diverse choice of activities and camps. This year, we are offering several camps including Downhill Mountain Bike Gravity Camp at our Bike Park, Kids Summer Camp, and our Woodstock Tennis Academy. Together, jump on the links or our tennis courts to just play or allow our pros to teach the family new tricks. Or, try something new at the Falconry Center. Swim indoors or out and maybe test a river swing. Whatever you do, our culinary team will make sure you are well fed with scrumptious delights sourced from our Kelly Way Gardens and delicious treats from our talented Pastry Chef Phillipe.
Family is first, so make the most of it as we can give you all of it.
A Golfer’s Delight – Classic and Celebrated
Robert Trent Jones Sr. came here in 1961 to create a gem for Mr. Rockefeller. He came back several times to adjust the course as well. It is truly a gift he gave us golfers: a meandering stream compliments the classic course that still challenges the advanced player and forgives the novice. It’s all about being out there walking or riding in a valley surrounded by lush hills. It’s no wonder Golf Advisor has rated us a top course in the Northeast. What is even greater, they named us one of the friendliest courses in America because our staff is so very accommodating.
Chef Paul has prepared a mouthwatering menu at the Country Club to add to the experience. Of course your favorite libations including some of Vermont’s hottest craft brews await in the Fairway Grill or on the porch.
