Summer in Woodstock Vermont

The Scene of Summer

July is the height of summer in Vermont, and there's no better time to soak in the season. Around the resort and throughout the village, you’ll find favorite spots to unwind. Find shade beneath a maple tree, along a garden path, or at a quiet riverside park. In our restaurants, chefs are serving up the freshest summer flavors, highlighting ingredients at their peak, while events and activities invite you to make the most of these sun-filled days. So, join us before summer is over at Vermont’s most beautiful address.

Locally Sourced & Delicious

Across the resort, our chefs have been inspired by all the wonderful produce and ingredients coming from our local farm partners and our own Organic Kelly Way Gardens! Discover a few standouts on our summer menus:

  • On the new menu in our recently reopened Richardson’s Tavern: charred pole beans, local ricotta whipped with maple syrup and served with house-made bread, and a whole branzino made to share with a flavorful herbaceous sauce.
  • At the Woodstock Country Club, the Fairway Grill’s lunch menu favorites include: the Cobb Salad full of satisfying toppings, not-too-heavy nachos with house-fried tortilla chips, and the vibrant shrimp tacos with cabbage, corn salsa, and local feta cheese on corn tortillas.
  • Our Red Barn Dinners feature unique menus centered around what is being harvested from Kelly Way Gardens that very week and proteins from local farms!
  • All day dining in the Red Rooster includes crowd-pleasing favorites such as: light and flavorful crab cakes for dinner, caprese sandwich full of garden vegetables for lunch, and of course, our children's menu!
